My daughter and I stayed at Aqua Oasis in July 2020 to enjoy our 1st staycation of this year. Due to The global pandemic, I couldn’t take my daughter to Japan during summer so we decided to get away from our ordinary life in Kailua, Oahu for 2 nights and 3 days.
As my daughter loves taking a bath, I specially looked for a hotel with a big tub and this hotel really delivered! My daughter was so excited that she took a bath 3 times on the 1st day, twice on the 2nd day, and once at the last day!
The hotel interior may not be the most modern, but for the price we paid, it was so spacious that it gave us ample room to do yoga and my daughter to play on the floor spreading all her toys we brought.
The hotel location is also perfect that it was close enough to all the shops we wanted to go such as the International Market Place and Sephora.
Lastly, the staffs we encountered were so helpful and thoughtful that they let us “super early check-in” at 9:30am or so that we could fully enjoy the hotel amenities!
We’ll definitely stay here again in the future!
Best Hotel Staff in the Universe
(Fort Knox, Kentucky)
We stayed 11 days at Aqua Oasis. This was an outbound PCS Military move. The staff was amazing. Mike, one of the valet members was amazing. He learned my kids names, treated my daughter like she was royalty whenever he would pull the van around and alway had great conversation with us. My kids after just two were calling him Uncle Mike.
Olivia and Rachel, both with the front desk. Both of these individuals were amazing. Always smiling and talking to my kids. My little ones had millions of questions and they always took the time to answer them and just be all around amazing people. Again, cannot stress this enough that these folks become your family. Olivia and Rachel are by far some of the greatest folks we have ever worked with during a PCS or even hotel stay. They always checked on us and asked if there was anything we needed. By the second day they knew all our names and the kids names.
Last but not least, Evelyn, the manager. When our hotel at another location didn’t reopen as planned due to Covid, I scrambled to find a new place to stay as I was about to be temporarily homeless. I spoke to about 15 locations and none of them wanted to work with the size of my family or were even friendly on the phone. When I got to Evelyn at the Aqua Oasis she could tell I was stressed by the tone in my voice. She asked what I needed and to if she could help. I explain our situation. She put me on a very brief hold and then told me she could fix it all. She gave us two amazing rooms at an amazing rate. If you are military in a PCS move, call her first. She will make miracles happen. She resolved all our lodging issues and basically let me dump all the stress on her. I have never had a team at a hotel or resort treat us in such an amazing way. I stay at hotels about 200 days a year in general for work. This is by far the best place and most accommodating place I have ever stayed at in 18 years. I would compare the service to the service you receive at Disney World. Everyone is happy you are there and they want you to relax.
The maid service / rooming cleaning service needs a special shoutout. We had a kitchenette room and it comes stocked with everything you need from plates and silverware to pots, pans and a rice maker. We did our own dishes daily but one morning we ran out and left the sink full for later. The cleaning team washed and put away all the dishes. Not their job at all as we are all adults but it was such a nice surprise to come back to the hotel and find it all done.
If you are traveling with a large family, ours was a party of six, this is the place to stay. The rooms are huge and plenty of space for the little kids to run around the room.
5 stars isn’t enough for this team, they definitely are the top of the spectrum when it comes to Hotel Staff. They are family.
Wonderful gem! Olivia is awesome!
Great gem of a hotel, booked the 1 bedroom suite and had a full fridge/freezer, stove, microwave. Quiet cold air conditioning. Awesome bathtub and living room setup. Will come back again. Olivia at the front seat was professional courteous and the essence of Aloha.
We were looking for a place to stay for 10 days during the Pandemic as we prepared to move to from Texas to Hawaii. During our stay their were a plethora of dining options and the hotel practices were very safe. The highlight of our stay was the service. At no point did any of the staff say no to any of our requests, and they were very accommodating during what could have been a tumultuous period. While we were here Olivia the Hotel Manager took care of us going above and beyond all our expectations. Thank you so much for making my families health your number one priority.
Excellent as always
