At The Maui Banyan, you don’t have to compromise. With two pools, a tennis court, a swimming beach across the street, and a range of unit types (rooms and condos), you can have
everything you need on vacation, including the satisfaction that you are getting a great value. Our condos come equipped with kitchens and laundry or take a true break from it all and stay in a hotel room. You may never want to leave the property, but if you do be sure to enjoy nearby golf courses, great restaurants and shops in neighboring Kihei and Wailea
I had to get an upgrade to make the place palatable after a first look, but then I was fined $425 because a friend smoked on the balcony, not inside the unit. Won't be coming back here. Maybe $50 as a fine, but $425???
Great Family Vacation Residence
Spent 7 days at the Maui Banyan with my wife and boys, 14 and 12.
Really clean and accommodating. Directly across form beautiful public beach. Very clean and homey. Pools were clean and heated (2 of them). 10 Weber Bar-B-que’s available by pool areas. Beautiful gardens and green space throughout property. Very friendly front desk staff and maintenance workers. Very close walking distance to stores, restaurant, and night life. We will be back again and again.....

We stayed for one week in G407 and G407A with our children. The units were clean and updated. There were beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use and a great beach across the street. The pool wasn't crowded and there were spots to sit to eat dinner after you grilled. The grills were cleaned on a daily basis. Beach towels were provided whenever they were needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only downside was handicapped parking. My elderly parents needed a handicapped parking spot closer to the front door. It was too far of a walk and limited spots.
Poorly run Unt P403
We rented a unit at the Maui Banyan through a company called Maui Vacation Condo Rentals. Although the Bayman is a fairly nice place, our unit was anything but.
One bed had holes in the sheets, and an other had them missing, which this company charged us for. There was paint peeling in the bathroom. Broken drawers in the fridge. Burnt out lights in the fan, excessive noise in the air conditioner, the knifes wouldn't cut anything and I'm pretty sure the Mr. Coffee pot was from the early 70's and took 20 minutes to make a pot. No beach toys. This place charges you $45 if you don't wash and return all plates and cutlery

Stayed here one night before condo availability for the week. Too pricey and expensive price ($325 plus taxes). Noisy room - could hear baby crying during night and early morning in adjoining room. Plus you are charged an extra $20 hotel amenities fee for coffee, newspaper, and free movie rentals which we did not use. I would not stay here again as feel could get nicer accommodation for less price with better planning.
