Our ocean front suite was amazing!

We stayed here for 4 days on our recent trip to Maui and it was wonderful! We had a full kitchen with a dishwasher (came in handy when we didn't want to leave to go out to eat). The bedrooms were a decent size and both had views of the ocean. The bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have two so the kids could have their own space. We also had a washer and dryer right in the suite - came in handy to dry bathing suits before our flight home! We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and one hotel pool below (there are 2 pools). The hotel has a restaurant and bar, not a fancy menu but it was really good and had something for everyone. Both restaurant and bar are next to the pool. The hotel has various activities throughout the week that they invite you to participate in, we didn't because we have teen boys and they weren't interested in learning how to hula, make a lei or learn to play the Ukelele - but the activities are varied and wonderful if you would like to take part in them. There was also morning yoga right by the beach! There are a few shops also located on the premise - clothing, souvenirs, art made in Maui. Each day there seemed to be something new going on...we ran into some local artists with tables of items to purchase in the lobby, where we purchased a hand-carved tiki! It seems like a wonderful hotel for adults and kids of all ages. There is a small courtyard where they had cornhole and a lawn-sized connect four game. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Nice resort on the ocean

This was our spot for 6 days while visiting Maui. The grounds were very nice and the front desk was very friendly. The lobby is nice and open with a continuous breeze. They have a water refill station so you can re-use your water bottles. There is a cafe for coffee and light breakfast items. They also have a very well stocked store to get just about anything. When we checked into our room, we had a problem with the A/C, but they did a great job of accommodating us in another room. The rooms were nice but quite dated. The kitchen layout was nice and clean. The units can definitely use some refreshing. I found the shower head in the bathroom to be unusually low. If you are less than 5’ 6”, you are ok. There are 2 pools. We found the yone closest to the lobby to be more family oriented where as the one near the ocean was more for adults. They do provide towels and you need to use your towel card to replace towels each day. Our rooms were tidied up each day with fresh towels. If you want to buy food, there is a convenient super market across the street. Our first meal was at the restaurant and must say was very tasty. The service too was great. We wanted to use the gym and was disappointed to find that it was an additional charge. They also have a yoga class, but that too was a charge of $10. There is ample parking for your car but there is a daily charge. Overall we had a nice experience but our only real disappointment were that the rooms were very dated.
Great place to temporarily call home
We stayed in a penthouse studio condo, which had amazing views across the Neighbour hotel to the water. The apartment felt very spacious for the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) and the kitchen was amazing - I’m sure it saved us heaps in eating out. The two pools were great, particularly the garden lagoon pool for kids. It’s a short stroll to nearby hotels and restaurants and the supermarket is right across the street. There are food trucks just outside the hotel for another great food option. Would highly recommend to anyone that’s considering somewhere a little quieter to the big resorts
Great family experience

Have stayed several times with youngster who had a blast in the pool. The grounds are well kept. There are options for extended family stays also. Close to small shopping center and grocery store. There are a few restaurants as well A natural foods deli is at the North end.
Maui on a Budget

This hotel is a really great bang for your buck. The rooms are technically owned by individual people but the hotel maintains and operates it all. The rooms have complete kitchens which is a great way to save money on food. Rooms are a bit dated but they are kept clean by housekeeping. Thee staff is very kind and helpful. There is a grocery store across the street with basically anything you would need. There isn’t really a beach to lay on at this hotel but you are a 5 min drive to a couple of great beaches with free parking. The hotel has (2) pools one is better for kids that’s the other but both are nice. There is a restaurant on the grounds which has great food, a bit pricy so I wouldn’t plan on eating there more than a couple times if you want to save money. Tips: -Rent an umbrella for you stay to take with you to the beach. -Bring cooler to the beach and pack food and drinks. - Do not leave any food out over night in kitchen you will have ants in the morning. Put most everything in fridge. This really isn’t a big deal just knowing how to live in an island environment.
