Andrea Mue, Managing Director

Mue oversees all aspects of the business and directs the expansion of the portfolio comprising hotels and resorts in Hawaii, the continental United States, and Central America. In steering the company's approach to investment opportunities, deals, and risk management, she ensures the delivery of exceptional value for guests, residents, partners, and owners. Mue joined Aqua-Aston in December 2018 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Executive. She spearheaded a transformation in the company's financial strategy, implementing substantive changes to enhance the company’s accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit functions. Her foresight and leadership proved especially invaluable in navigating the unparalleled challenges faced by the hospitality industry during the pandemic and global economic downturn. Her career highlights include a significant tenure at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, culminating in her role as Chief Financial Officer, and serving as EVP and Chief Financial Officer at The Chartres Lodging Group & Kokua Hospitality before joining Aqua-Aston.

Sheryl Lang

Sheryl D. Lang, Chief Commercial Executive

As Aqua-Aston’s Chief Commercial Executive, Lang leads Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Distribution, and Reservations teams. She inspires growth, drives performance, and fosters collaboration, unlocking the organization's full commercial potential. Lang has held senior roles at The LJS Group, Crescent Hotels & Resorts, AHG, Morgans Hotel Group, Starwood, and Hyatt.

Chris Port, Chief Development Officer

Widely recognized as a seasoned leader in the global hospitality industry, Port has more than 30 years of corporate investment, acquisition, finance, and real estate development experience. He is responsible for new business development and the expansion of Aqua-Aston Hospitality, in both existing and new markets, and the optimization of our current portfolio of hotels and resorts found in Hawaii, the Continental U.S., and Costa Rica.

Lesli Reynolds, Senior Vice President Operations

Reynolds is responsible for global operations across five owned brands, as well as the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Curio Collection by Hilton; developing strategic plans, brand standards, and standard operating procedures that require enterprise-wide coordination; and supporting new business development, including the implementation of growth strategies.

Janice Wakatsuki, Senior Vice President Human Resources

Wakatsuki provides human resources leadership and oversight relating to employee/labor relations, compensation and benefits, and recruitment/hiring for managed properties of Aqua-Aston and its corporate office. Prior to this, Wakatsuki was the corporate director of human resources for Outrigger Enterprises Group.
