If you’re short on time, hop on a 30 minute tour of Oahu’s celebrated South Shore. You’ll love every minute of it and be back on the ground before you can say “humuhumunukunukuapua’a.”

Up Up and Away: Helicopter Tours
Wanna know a secret? Many parts of Hawaii’s mesmerizing beauty are hidden from the trails and roads. They’re in special spots that you can only view from above.
Board a helicopter, and get ready to play hide and seek. The gushing waterfalls, misty rainforests, and molten lava flows are hiding. It’s your turn to seek. The views and the exhilarating ride are the rewards. You win all around.
Under 1 Hour
In just one hour, you can see all of Maui by helicopter. This includes the difficult-to- drive (but remarkably beautiful) southeast part of the island known as the “Back Side of Haleakala.”
Over 1 Hour
On a 2 hour tour of Hawaii Island, you can really get to know the “Big Island.” You’ll meet and greet erupting volcanoes, tall waterfalls, and black sand coastlines.
The shorter the tour, the lower the price, but a 40-50 minute tour offers the best value for the price.
Many touring companies will match or beat the price of their competitors, so make sure you comparison shop.
Although it’s not required, you’re welcome to tip your pilot if you have enjoyed your tour.
On Kauai you’ll feel like you’re navigating a private island hidden from the rest of the world. Take a “doors off” tour of the Na Pali Coast for the most spectacular open-air viewing.
Find out why Maui is called the “Valley Isle.” Lose all sense of time as you float above rainforests and Haleakala Crater. Rainbows are often included in the package.
Hawaii Island never sleeps. Constant lava flows are expanding its dark shores, and you can watch it happen from above.
Take an air tour of the popular shores of Waikiki and Pearl Harbor, or the equally appealing interiors of Oahu in an hour or less.
“I didn’t think it would be possible for Hawaii to get any prettier, then I boarded a helicopter…”
