Centrally located in the heart of downtown Kahului, on the shores of picturesque Kahului Bay, the Maui Beach Hotel is just minutes from Kahului Airport, shopping, beaches and golf courses. Rooms and suites decorated in a lovely island style, offer ocean, garden or city views. In addition to an on-site restaurant, lounge, swimming pool, and fitness center, there are meeting rooms and a ballroom, making it a perfect location for business conferences and weddings.
For what you pay compare to other places it's awesome.
Rooms are large with old, but functional air con.
Staff and service levels are good.
Only had food at the hotel one evening, it was average at best. Some Hawaiian dishes some Chinese???
Beach on your door step and walking distance to grocery stores and other large shops.
A good place to set up base on the north of the island.
OK for a night. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place

We stayed here for one night as we arrived in Kahului late and wanted to get an early start to Hana the next day, so the hotel was convenient. But one night was enough. I wouldn't want to stay here for several days when the beaches and hotels on Maui's west side are so much better. Don't expect a luxury resort. It's a basic, average hotel with small, dark rooms. Wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a beach resort. go to the West side of maui for that. This place was expensive for what was provided and the "Resort Fee" on top of that didn't provide the amenities that you would expect for a nice resort location. Can't recommend this place.
A slum in the tropics!
This hotel is located near the Kahuilui OGG airport with a view of the harbor.
Common areas are dirty & outdated and carpets corridors are completely worn out!
Standard rooms are small, noisy, dusty & gloomy and cost the exorbitant price of $ 178 with no included breakfast! According to Front desk, just pay $ 20 extra and get a suposedely "superior room" located on on the garden side.
The "all you can eat buffet" dinner costs $ 23 but neither looks nor tastes good and remains deserted by most guests at evenings!. The outdoor unguarded car park costs $ 5.
This place is dreadful and has very poor value for money. Run away or just stay for 1 night!
Maui is a wonderful place with so many other accommodations of better quality in the price range of $ 150 to 200.
Don't listen to bad reviews
Don't listen to bad reviews- Have realistic expectations
Solid 3 star plus hotel, don't expect 5 star
Our flight got changed, so we needed a room for 2 couples to stay for one night to make our connecting flight the next day to Molokai - Maui Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was large- 2 queen beds with large bathroom. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and customer service excellent for less then $200 night. So less then $100 a couple We took advantage of free shuttle service that was excellent. It was a 5-10 min ride. When we arrived at airport we were picked up less then 15 mins after calling. The swap meet was on Saturday morning and they took us there. afterwards after check-out to airport. Well worth the $15 service fee.
The pool and restaurant were both very good. We ate diner and breakfast there. The beach there is more for enjoying the view rather then swimming, but we did see people swimming.
We read reviews the area was in bad area. We walked around with no issues, including walking home from swap meet.
We would recommend this hotel for a jump location for exploring Maui, especially your 1st or last night for airport . Don't expect a tropical paradise on a perfect beach
Convenient from Airport
Stayed here overnight with the family for island getaway. We choose this hotel for it’s convenient from airport and malls nearby. Staffs are friendly. My only concern is that hotel needs a facelift. Rooms are outdated, shower heads are bit rusty and about to fall off. Ample parking for guest with fee. We booked three rooms and pre-checked in early morning so that we can leave and start our activities. Upon return at the hotel, one of the room wasn’t ready until almost 4p. It was disappointing for my family.
