Spread out and get really comfortable in your own studio or one-bedroom suite at Aqua Pacific Monarch. You’re only a short walk away from the sandy shores of Waikiki beach, shopping and dining at the International Market Place, and all of Waikiki’s hottest spots. After a day full of adventure, come back home to your room to cook a nice meal in either our studio kitchenettes or full kitchen suites, or treat yourself to culinary delights at the on-site restaurant, Jinroku. You will find all you need, right here.
Our room wasn’t very modern, but it was nice, had a small kitchenette, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and the roof pool was nice, but the “amenities fee” of $25 was not worth what they “provided” they gave you a card where you could check out dvd’s and WiFi was “included.” There was always cold lemon water in the lobby which was s nice touch, but parking was $30 a day in the hotels own parking ramp. The location was pretty good, overall not a bad place to stay but everything was very expensive.
I got an Airbnb in Pacific Monarch and was amazing. Definitely, it is the best location near all stores, restaurant and etc. It's a cute studio, very clean, comfortable bed and nice pool area. (Pool is small but great view). I'd definitely recommend it. (I don't know about the entire hotel if it's all like the aribnb room).

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel - both times we paid for the full ocean view and I have to say certainly worth it - even for the balcony size which seats a 4 seater outdoor setting. Hotel is a little dates but always clean and rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. As we were in the 1 bedroom and had full kitchen facilities it was nice to make our own breakfast every day. Any tours that did not pick us up from hotel the pick up was 1 street away. From our hotel we can walk to everything we need - supermarket, bars, restaurants etc - always felt safe in this location - no matter what time of night we were walking home. The amenity fee is worth it even just for Wi-Fi and the free beach towels everyday! I totally recommend.
Stayed 18 nights
The. room w as clean,a little bit dated decor,ev erthing worked fine, stove, microwave, fridge,& gabarader,,.we were on the 13 th floor, had ma I'd service every day,had a small but warm roof top pool ,& hot tub. On the 33 Rd floor, was a bit windy up there on 33 Rd floor! Our balcony was only about 24 inches wide, hardly wide enough to put a chair out there . Just standing room only. The hotel staff was very helpful a nything you asked the were right there to help or to answer your questions, the location was great a block from the beach,& grocery store as well as the farmers market for fresh produce. I would return to stay again,

Hotel is close to beach and all Waikiki hot spots . Handy shuttle that runs to Alamoana shopping center every 1/2 hour the cost fo this is included in you resort fee.
The hotel itself is quite dated buy is quite adequate if your just looking for somewhere to put your head down, House keeping staff are really wonderful however front line staff need to sharpen their customer service skills.
