We stayed here for 3 nights post our cruise. Check in was easy and staff very helpful. The room was adequate for our needs although the air conditioner was quite noisy which made good sleep difficult. The room did have a view and was clean.
Good location three blocks from the beach

Nice apartment but cooking options limited through lack of utensils. Lemon-flavoured water dispenser in the lobby was a very welcome touch. Some frustration with the door key-card which lost its memory on more than one occasion.
We haven't slept in a week, so not very good for a holiday where you want to revive from a busy work life
This hotel is very outdated. The rooms are small and not overly clean.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment, and were upgraded to an ocean view.
We didn't sleep well as the a/c in the lounge was too loud to allow us to sleep on the sofa bed, and the bedroom was too hot as it didn't have an a/c.
The sofa looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. The bedroom itself was so small that it was difficult to get the ironing board out of the closet, and certainly no room to set it up in the room. Lots of bruised shins from hitting the bed when trying to walk around it.
The balcony looked fine, but the a/c was so noisy it was rendered unusable.
The shower was mouldy and also had the hair of past guests on the tiles and in the plug hole.
The staff a really nice and helpful.
The free shuttle around Waikiki to Ala Moana was very useful.
The pool was closed for half of our stay, and an alternative offered at a sister hotel, but we didn't use it as it wasn't very inviting, even during a heatwave.
All up, cleanliness is an issue and the property desperately needs an update and a thorough clean.
Great location, bad A/C
We had a 1BR ocean view condo for the week. Staff was great, condo was OK, except for the A/C. It was set on 60 degrees. It did not shut off the entire week. It got down to 73 in the morning, up to 80 in the afternoon. We had our ‘ocean view’ blinds closed all week, to keep the heat out. There was no ventilation. Even with the bedroom fan on constantly, it was still hot in the bedroom.
The rooftop pool was nice, not crowded. It had a great view.
Because of the AC issues, I would not recommend.

Only 2 short blocks from the beach and Kalakaua Avenue. Short walking distance to restaurants and shopping, very convenient for bus stop locations. Hotel has a complimentary shuttle that takes you to Ala Moana Shopping Centre and back. Friendly front desk staff. Musubi Cafe (various Japanese take-out food) is conveniently located next to the lobby. Only improvement needed is better air conditioning units in the suites!
Have stayed here several times and will be returning in October 2018.
