To handle the increased hours, Aqua-Aston has grown its team of call center agents by nearly 40 percent to help create an even more seamless experience for customers. The new staff received comprehensive sales and customer service training, as well as tours of each of the Aqua-Aston properties to ensure they are properly prepared to assist in meeting guest needs. Because all agents live in Hawaii, they can apply their first-hand knowledge of the islands to provide in depth answers to questions posed by callers.
Travellers and agents who call the newly launched central reservations office will not only receive personalized recommendations for activities and the hotel that will best suit their needs, but they will also have exclusive access to lesser-known penthouse accommodations at select hotels in Waikiki – including Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head, Aston Waikiki Beach Tower, Aston Waikiki Beachside Hotel, Aqua Bamboo Waikiki and Ewa Hotel Waikiki – that are only available through the call center.
