Thrill seekers will enjoy this 335-acre park with 9 distinct territories packed with roller coasters, rides, eateries, shops, and live entertainment. It is the ultimate family adventure park. Located in Tampa Bay which is about 1 hour from Orlando.

Busch Gardens® is home to Sheikra, a rollercoaster that is over 200 feet tall and has a 200 foot vertical descent. This ride provides you with a full view of the park if you are brave enough to look! You can even take up-close tours and meet the animals of the safari in person. With shows, dining experiences, rides, and shops there’s something for everyone in your party to experience a true African experience! Other rides include Kumba, Rhino Rally, Cheetah Chase, Monto and Bert, and Ernie’s Watering Hole.

The whole park is designed to resemble a safari and animals including elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, camels, elephants, alligators and bird to name a few. You can even get a chance to hand feed some of the cuddly kangaroos. Rides at this park tend to cater for over 10-year-olds. Your first encounter at the park is a Moroccan market, be sure to grab a map of the park there and check show times. If you head west from Morocco it will take you to the Bird Gardens, Sesame Street, Safari of Fun, Stanleyville and Jungala. Heading north you will find Nairobi, Timbuktu, and the Congo. Heading east takes you to Egypt and the Serengeti. This truly is an amazing African inspired experience.

Kennedy Space Center® Florida Kennedy Space Center® is the launch operations center for NASA. This is where the famous countdowns are heard as a mission prepares to launch.

The Kennedy Space Center® Visitor Complex should be the starting place for your visit. It is home to several attractions and it’s also where you can board a bus for tours of center beyond the visitor complex.

You will get a chance to tour launch areas, train in space-flight stimulators and view a launch. Veteran astronauts are on site are available to meet and you can even book to have lunch with them. The IMAZ theatres let you experience space exploration alongside NASA’s astronauts. The park includes a rocket garden that is home to many of the famous shuttles who have been retired from missions.

There is an astronaut memorial where you can pay homage to those who dedicated their lives to space exploration. The kids won’t be bored with the play dome area. The park is also home to the Hubble telescope exhibit, a live star trek show, and many other space orientated attractions. This is a definite must for those fond of adventure, exploration, and outer space!

At the U.S Astronaut Hall of Fame, you will see authentic memorabilia and equipment including space suits and a flag that made it to the moon. The Kennedy Space Center® and the U.S Astronaut Hall of Fame are about one hour’s drive from Orlando.



This 59-acre one-of-a-kind water park that combines the best of both SeaWorld and Discovery Cove with up-close animal encounters, thrilling water rides and 80,000 square feet of white-sand beaches. Here you’ll also find river rides, water slides, gigantic double wave pools and amazing marine life.

Dolphin Plunge – The most popular ride in the park! slip through a winding string of pitch dark black tubes and pass the Commerson’s dolphin habitat.

Wave Pools – These lagoons are a great way to cool off on hot days. Every 10 minutes a series of wave motions pass through the pools allowing you to bob up and down.

Tassie’s Twisters – Hop into an inner tube and swish at high speed through an enclosed tube down a slide.

Taumata Racer – Eight colorful tubes are lined up, following a countdown you launch yourself into your chute and slip and slide your way down into a splash pool.

Roa’s Rapids – Roa’s Rapids race you along an action river ride through the white waters of Aquatica®.

All in all, there is something for everyone in this tropical tiki-themed setting.

Aquatica® opens at 9 am with closing time varying between 5 pm and 10 pm depending on the season. Tickets and passes, as well as upgrade passes, can be ordered online. A good tip is to bring your own beach supplies such as towels, lotions, water shoes and snacks; this will save the cost of hiring them. Aquatica® is located just across the street from SeaWorld on International Drive off the Beachline Expressway (FL 528), 10 minutes south of downtown Orlando and 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport This park is not for those afraid to get wet. Standing over seven stories tall, these amazing towers feature multilevel launch pads and breath-taking views from high above the treetops.

Soar through the air and defy gravity over some of the theme park’s star attractions–including Cuban and Nile crocodiles–before heading over the Alligator Breeding Marsh, complete with one hundred and thirty giant alligators watching from below! The zip line ride is not included in general admission to the park.
